The NWFL HUB exists to connect the home education community to comprehensive information, educational resources, and providers.

Serving: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties

If you are new here, the local directory (www.nwflhub.com )will save you a lot of personal research time and get you into community faster.  The NWFL HUB directory and our public Facebook group is a public service to help you find educational resources in our local area.  Our membership site is a free additional resource for current parent educators.  This site (nwflhub.springly.org) provides volunteers with the resources needed to plan area events and activities.  Registered members (see membership) will receive direct email invitations to attend event types they select.  The screening questions are used to qualify members and assign to groups.  Data will never be used for spam or marketing.

What exactly is the NWFL HUB?

• We are community catalysts.
• We are a community resource.
• We are also a member resource.
• We are the open door to extensive outside of systems education information in our LOCAL area.

We are here to support the many volunteers just like us, doing good in our (expanded definition) “home” education community.  Things we can do within our tax exempt purposes:

• provide a layer of liability protection for volunteers
• run background checks when/if necessary
• enter into rental agreements and purchase insurance
• have public fundraisers
• provide a financial system for safe money exchange separate from personal accounts of volunteers
• receive non-profit discounted rates for group events and contracts
• provide a vetted membership platform for additional services and security
• apply for grants and accept tax deductible donations
• serve all types of home education families where they are
• host events and field trip possibilities only limited by your ideas and willingness to collaborate
